What is Skulearn?
Skulearn — the School of Purpose
Skulearn — the School of Purpose, is a global personal growth platform where young people learn real-life skills through courses, coaching, gaming and community, and where independent coaches, counsellors, and life-skills tutors grow their practice by reaching them.
Skulearn is open to ages 13 and up, with two tracks: Teens (13–17) and Adults (18 and older). There's no upper age limit.
Two Age Groups
One platform, two age groups
Everyone on Skulearn is grouped into one of two age groups, and the whole platform is organised around them.
Ages 13–17
Teens
School, identity, confidence and first big decisions — with parental or guardian consent required for users under 18.
Ages 18+
Adults
Career, money, leadership and wellbeing — no upper age limit, just a track built for your stage of life.
Communities are split the same way: both coach communities and alumni communities are grouped into Teens 13–17 and Adults 18+, so members connect with peers at the same stage of life.
Coaches choose the age group they serve, and courses and the Purpose Game are each broken into 13–17 and 18+ versions.
The Journey
Skulearn was founded on two observations
First: the knowledge that matters most in life — how to know yourself, manage money, build confidence, and navigate relationships — isn't part of most traditional school curriculums, so young people are left to figure it out on their own.
Second: most young people aren't held back by a lack of talent or effort, but by a lack of clarity about who they are and where they're going.
We built the system that addresses both: coaches, courses, role models, and community, all designed around the process of becoming.
Our guiding philosophy is Identity First, Skills Next, Income Always: lasting success starts with knowing who you are, builds through real skills, and shows up as sustainable income and impact.

We go beyond traditional education by focusing on personal development, leadership, clarity, and real-world preparedness — so young people can make better-informed career choices and life decisions. Skulearn complements traditional schooling; we don't replace it. Schools are welcome to partner with us.
Skulearn does not currently offer accredited courses.
Meet Our Founder
You are capable of more than you are currently experiencing.
I'm Joshua Ighodalo, and I believe that clarity changes everything.
In April 2010, while still in high school, I had an experience that changed how I saw my life. For the first time, I gained clarity about who I was, where I was going, and what I wanted to build.
That experience shaped everything that followed.
Since then, I've helped others find that same clarity as a mentor, life purpose coach, author and entrepreneur, building businesses and platforms around one belief:

Alongside this work, I lead the Purpose Generation Campaign, helping make transformational books and resources accessible to young people across South Africa and beyond.
